Cross-border programme

Drafting of the cross-border programme started on February 19th, 2007 and the final draft was submitted to the European Commission on May 31st, 2007. The document was officially approved on December 18th, 2007.

The first Call for Proposals under this programme was launched on July 8th, 2009. The kick-off event took place in Uzice, followed by 7 information sessions. The first CfP closed on October 6th, 2009.

   
 

Programme overall objective:

To bring together the people, communities and economies of the border area to jointly participate in the development of a cooperative area, using its human, natural and economic resources and advantages

 

Priority I

Social - economic cohesion through joint actions to improve physical, business, social and institutional infrastructure and capacity

Measure I.1

Improving the productivity and competitiveness of the areas’ economic, rural and environmental resources

Measure I.2

Cross-border initiatives targeting the exchange of people and ideas to enhance the professional and civic society cooperation

Management of the programme

 

Both countries will be managing the programme according to the centralised management model.

JTS is located in Uzice, Serbia and Antenna in Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
