Lead Partner
According to the IPA Implementing Regulation, if there are several potential partners of an operation in each participating country, they shall appoint a lead partner among themselves prior to the submission of the proposal. In case of joint projects where Lead Partners from both sisdes are participating and are separately contracted by the Contracting Authority, the two Lead Partners shall appoint among themselves a Functional Lead Partner prior to the submission of the project proposal.
Logical Framework Approach (LFA)
A methodology for planning, managing and evaluating programmes and projects, involving stakeholders analysis, problem analysis, analysis of objectives, analysis of strategies, preparation of logframe matrix and activity and resource schedules. This is the methodology required for the preparation of project proposals that apply for funding under IPA CBC programmes.
Logical Framework Matrix (Logframe)
A project summary. A matrix in which a projects intervention logic (overall objective, project purpose, expected results and activities), assumptions, objectively verifiable indicators and sources of verification are presented. The matrix also includes costs and means.
