Cross-border programme

Drafting of the cross-border programme started on February 19th, 2007 and the final draft was submitted to the European Commission on May 31st, 2007. The document was officially approved in December 2007.

The first Call for Proposals under this programme was launched on August 21st, 2009. The kick-off event took place in Kotor, on August 25th, 2009 in Kotor, followed by four information sessions.The CfP will be closed on November 18th, 2009. Programme general objective:

Improved quality of life in cross-border area between Croatia and Montenegro

 

Priority I

Creation of favourable environmental and socio-economic conditions in the programming area by improvement of the co-operation in the jointly selected sectors and good neighbourly relations in the eligible areas

Joint actions for environment, nature and cultural heritage protection

Management of the Programme

 

While Croatia will be managing the programme according to decentralised management, Montenegro will be managing the programme according to the centralised management model.
